White Voskehat wines can have stone-fruit, pear, melon and floral aromas. They are made in fresh, unoaked styles and with more texture from contact with grape skins. Areni Noir is among the red grapes grown here.
- 02Ararat Valley1 producerAcross Armenia's Ararat and Armavir provinces, the Ararat Valley is an irrigated winegrowing area. Vineyards usually lie at 850 to 1,000 metres in a dry continental climate. Local grapes include Karmrahyut, Garan Dmak, Mskhali and Kakhet, grown alongside other Armenian and international varieties.

- 04SyunikNo producers listed yetSyunik is an Armenian province of mountain ranges, river gorges and forested slopes, with a warmer valley around Meghri. It includes Sisian, Goris, Kapan and Meghri and has some vineyards.
- 05TavushNo producers listed yetIn northeastern Armenia, the region of Tavush borders Georgia and Azerbaijan. Much of it lies at 800 to 1000 metres, yet winters are comparatively mild. Its vineyards grow local grapes for fresh, aromatic white wines, including Lalvari and Kangun. Around Koghb village, Lalvari is made into dry white wine.
- 06Vayots DzorNo producers listed yetVayots Dzor is a wine region in southeastern Armenia, around the Arpa River valley and surrounding mountains. Vineyards sit at 1,200 to 1,800 metres in relatively dry conditions. The red grape Areni makes sparkling wines, rosés and reds; its red wines can have cherry, black-pepper and black-tea aromas with firm, drying tannin.
