Southern Serbia is a broad wine region. It includes Three Moravas in central Serbia, which takes in the lower West and South Morava basins, the upper Great Morava basin and their tributaries. Gledićke and Bešnjaja mountains mark its western and northern edges. The terrain shifts between hilly districts, including Župa around Aleksandrovac, Trstenik on both sides of the West Morava and Kruševac north and south of the city. Tamjanika is the Morava valley's leading white grape, with fragrant wines and a soft palate.
