Ezerjó is Mór's signature white grape. After phylloxera, it became nearly dominant in local replanting because it gave reliable yields. Mór producers first sought an independent wine region in 1900 and achieved that status in 1928. The area later attracted less attention after the regime change, then began a slow revival in the 2010s.
