Producer coverage

Read about Tirol below, or explore the area on the map.

Tirol is the protected wine designation for Austria's province of Tyrol. It belongs to Bergland, Austria's smallest wine-growing region, which also includes Vorarlberg, Salzburg, Upper Austria and Carinthia. White and red wines, especially from Burgundian grape varieties, are made under the designation. Tarrenz is Tirol's largest wine-growing municipality by vineyard area and number of growers. The rules limit the grape harvest to 10,000 kilograms per hectare.
