The Producer

Danese Cantina was founded in 1950 by Mario Danese and a peasant family, initially producing and selling bulk wine. The winery expanded bulk-wine sales across Italy in demijohns by 1970, then introduced its own bottled brand in 1980 with returnable vacuum bottles. Luca Danese now leads the winery, with Riccardo Danese assisting in company management.

Wines

The listed wine is the 2016 Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico Danese Cantina, a red wine from Valpolicella.
