The Producer
Château Minuty sits on the Saint-Tropez peninsula and produces approximately 8 million bottles annually, primarily rosé. Gabriel Farnet founded the estate in 1936. Anne-Victoire Matton joined her father Jean-Étienne and uncle François in management in 2022, extending the family leadership into a fourth generation. LVMH acquired a controlling interest in 2023 through its Moët-Hennessy division.
Place
Château Minuty is associated with the Saint-Tropez peninsula, a coastal part of Provence. Its wines carry the Côtes de Provence appellation, which names their Provençal regional origin on the label. The cuvée names then distinguish the grape formulas within the rosé range.
Wines
M de Minuty Rosé combines four grape varieties, Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Tibouren. Minuty Prestige Rosé also combines four, Grenache, Syrah, Rolle and Cinsault. Both are Côtes de Provence rosés. Each formula contains Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. M adds Tibouren, while Prestige uses Rolle.
Final Word
Château Minuty joins a Saint-Tropez peninsula setting to a rosé-led Provençal range.
