The Producer

Château de Jacques was established in 1924 by Amédée Rousseau, who assembled the estate through acquisitions of vineyard plots from local families. After Rousseau’s death in 1931, the Thorins négociant family acquired the estate and continued his winemaking philosophy, resisting the 1950s shift toward carbonic maceration.

Wines

Listed wines include Moulin-à-Vent Champ de Cour 2023 and Moulin-à-Vent Clos de Rochegrès 2020, both red wines from Beaujolais.
