The regional association also includes members in Hertfordshire and Northamptonshire. The Thames and Chilterns Vineyards Association, one of WineGB's seven regional groups, dates to 1988.

Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier lead the traditional-method sparkling wines. Bacchus contributes fruity, floral still wines, while producers also make white, rosé and red. Some focus entirely on sparkling wine; others make a wider range.
