Oriental is a Moroccan wine region associated with Oujda. Berkane and Angad are appellations of origin within the region, and they share the same grape-variety rules.

For red and rosé wines, those rules permit Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, Alicante-Bouschet, Tempranillo, Merlot and Mourvèdre. White wines may use Clairette, Grenache Blanc, Muscat Blanc and Sauvignon. In Morocco, an Appellation d'Origine label indicates a wine from a delimited geographical area.
