Bohemia

Bohemia is one of Czechia's two wine regions, divided into Mělnická and Litoměřická. Its 710 hectares of vineyards are among Europe's northernmost, in an area that is on average up to 4°C cooler than Czechia's main wine area.

Bohemia is one of Czechia's two wine regions and among Europe's northernmost vineyard areas. Mělnická and Litoměřická together have 710 hectares of vineyards across 75 wine-growing villages and 171 vineyard tracks, tended by 195 growers.

Bohemia is up to 4°C cooler on average than Czechia's main wine area. Mělnická centres on Mělník, while Litoměřická is named for Litoměřice. Around Litoměřice, Müller Thurgau, Pinot Noir, Saint Laurent, Riesling and Pinot Gris are widespread.
