The Producer

Tablas Creek Vineyard was established after its partners purchased the site in 1989, in the Adelaida District west of Paso Robles. At roughly 1,500 feet, the estate’s shallow, rocky limestone soils support dry-farmed vines and moderate crop levels. The vineyard has been organic since 2003, Biodynamic certified since 2017, and Regenerative Organic Certified since 2020.

Wines

The listed 2023 Tablas Creek Syrah is 100% Syrah from the Adelaida District of Paso Robles. It combines lots from neutral and new oak, offering dark fruit, leather, chocolate, umami notes, powerful tannins and an iron-like mineral finish.
