The Producer

Saint Clair Family Estate is owned by Neal and Judy Ibbotson and was established in 1994. It works with estate-grown fruit and contract growers across Marlborough’s Wairau, Awatere and Ure valleys, alongside a Gimblett Gravels vineyard in Hawke’s Bay. Since 2001, vineyard wine batches have been graded annually on a ten-point quality scale.

Wines

Listed wines span Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Riesling, Albariño, Pét-Nat and traditional-method sparkling wine. Vicar’s Choice Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is cool-fermented in stainless steel, while Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2024 was selected as the vintage’s best Sauvignon Blanc batch through blind tasting.
