The Producer

Poggio al Sole lies between Florence and Siena, with roughly 27 hectares of southeast- to southwest-facing vines from 420 to 530 metres. Johannes and Kathrin Davaz settled here in 1990; Valentino and Stephanie joined in 2019, linking two generations around sustainable agriculture and organic winemaking.

Wines

Listed wines include Primavera, Chiara, Trittico, Ponente and Chianti Classico bottlings, alongside Casasilia Chianti Classico. The estate’s Chianti Classico is 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo, while Casasilia 2022 is a 100% Sangiovese Gran Selezione.
