The Producer

Deep reds, Sables de Camargue rosés and sparkling Picpoul whites make up Maison Jeanjean's portfolio. The family business works across Languedoc terroirs, with wines based on fruit, freshness, brilliance and pleasure. Brigitte Jeanjean represents the current generation alongside Frédéric, Philippe and Elisabeth Jeanjean. Matthieu Carliez has worked as technical director alongside Brigitte for nearly 20 years.

Place

The Jeanjean estates occupy different Languedoc settings. Mas de Lunès vineyards stretch over gently undulating hills parallel to the coast, with maritime influence and chalky soil. Domaine des Rocs is in the cool, wet Pic St Loup appellation. Domaine de Fenouillet comes from high-altitude schist parcels.

These settings divide the portfolio by landscape. Mas de Lunès brings coastal influence and chalk, Domaine des Rocs brings the cooler conditions of Pic St Loup, and Fenouillet brings the elevation and schist of its terraces.

Wines

Maison Jeanjean's portfolio spans deep reds, Sables de Camargue rosés and sparkling Picpoul whites. The estate ranges add different wine characters within those categories. Mas de Lunès wines show balanced intensity and a distinctive minty character. Domaine des Rocs produces delicate and fresh wines from Pic St Loup. Domaine de Fenouillet produces refined wines from high-altitude schist parcels.

The range is organized by wine colour and estate setting, from deep reds and coastal rosés to sparkling whites and estate wines marked by maritime influence, cool conditions or schist terraces.

Final Word

Maison Jeanjean brings maritime chalk, cool Pic St Loup and high-altitude schist into one Languedoc portfolio, with wines ranging from deep reds to rosés and sparkling whites.
