Who makes it
Elisabeth and Slanie de Pontac are sisters who manage wine production at Château Peychaud throughout the year. The estate makes red Bordeaux Supérieur in Ambarès-et-Lagrave, with the current production carried out by two members of the de Pontac family.

Château Peychaud is in Ambarès-et-Lagrave, between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers. Its red wine carries the Bordeaux Supérieur appellation, a Bordeaux designation for red wine.

Château Peychaud Cuvée Spéciale Rouge is a red Bordeaux Supérieur made from 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. A 2015 Château Peychaud Bordeaux Supérieur is full and rich, with ripe fruit, licorice, fine tannins and pleasant acidity on the finish.
