The Producer

Château Beau-Séjour Bécot is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé estate located on the clay-limestone soils of the Saint-Martin de Mazerat plateau. Michel Bécot acquired the property in 1969, expanding it to 18.50 hectares and converting seven hectares of former limestone quarries into bottle storage.

Wines

The listed 2020 Château Beau-Séjour Bécot combines 85% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Franc and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. It was manually harvested, vinified parcel by parcel, and aged for 16 months across new barrels, tanks, amphorae and foudres.
