Champagne J.M. Gobillard & Fils is a family Champagne house with a range built around distinct cuvée choices. Blanc de Blancs is a pure Chardonnay wine, while Privilège des Moines takes a wood aged direction, spending one year under wood with stirring. Place
Hautvillers is the place tied to the house's vineyard origin. Champagne sparkling wines gain their bubbles through a second fermentation in bottle, while lees ageing can add brioche aroma and a creamier texture. Blanc de Blancs and Privilège des Moines sit within that sparkling wine tradition, with the latter also receiving one year under wood with stirring.
Wines
The range includes two named cuvées with different points of emphasis. Blanc de Blancs is made entirely from Chardonnay, with floral brioche aromas, vibrant citrus character and almond grilled nuances on the finish. Privilège des Moines is aged one year under wood with stirring, combining candied citrus aromas with vanilla and cocoa, followed by persistent citrus mandarin flavours.
