The Producer
Fleury adopted biodynamic viticulture in 1989 and became one of the first estates in Champagne to do so. Biodynamic viticulture treats the vineyard as a connected ecosystem, with soil vitality and vine resilience as practical aims.
Place
Courteron in the Côte des Bar is the founding place of Champagne Fleury. The Côte des Bar lies in southern Champagne. Blanc de Noirs places the named wine in Champagne's white sparkling tradition made from dark skinned grapes.
Wines
Fleury Blanc de Noirs Brut is made from 100% Pinot Noir, comes from biodynamic vineyards, and has 12.5% alcohol. Blanc de Noirs means a white sparkling wine made from dark skinned grapes, while Brut identifies a dry style. The cuvée presents one grape and one clearly defined sparkling category.
Final Word
Champagne Fleury joins biodynamic vineyard work with a dry Blanc de Noirs made from Pinot Noir.
