The Producer

Pierre Einaudi, a grandson and great grandson of winemakers, leads Domaine Bargemone for the Einaudi family. Manual harvest is a family practice, with care for individual grapes. Sulphite use is highly restricted, with none applied during harvest or in the press.

Place

Domaine Bargemone's home in Saint-Cannat is within the Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation of Provence. The 2025 and 2024 vintages of Le Rosé Domaine de la Bargemone carry that appellation. On the bottle, the appellation is the geographic designation, while the cuvée name identifies the particular wine.

Wines

Zenith Rosé is the entry wine. Its grapes are harvested at night while naturally cold, then cold pressed without a skin soak. The freshly pressed grape liquid is held at 2°C for 5 days to stabilize it before fermentation in temperature controlled steel tanks. The wine is blended in December and bottled at the property in early January. The coral pink wine shows cherry blossom, cherry and young strawberries, followed by red fruit, boiled sweets and bright freshness on the palate.

Libre Rosé uses 45% Grenache, 45% Syrah and 10% Cinsault at 13% alcohol. Its nose has fresh lemon zest, grapefruit, pink rhubarb, white pepper and ginger. The palate has mineral notes and a silky finish. It is a rounded, epicurean style that retains the appellation's characteristic lift and freshness.

Classique Rosé is vinified separately by grape variety, directly pressed without a skin soak, and fermented entirely in stainless steel. It undergoes no malolactic conversion, a secondary process that can soften acidity, so its palate remains crisp and bone dry. Wild strawberries, red currants and a light floral character define the aroma.
