Who makes it
Montefalco, in Umbria. Daniela Adanti and her daughter Stella, the second and third generations, run the estate. They make a Montefalco Rosso and a Sagrantino Passito, the sweet dried-grape version, and a top Sagrantino called Il Domenico that gets 30 months in oak and two more years in bottle before anyone sees it.
