The Producer
Daniel Orsolini founded So Vignerons in 2005 as a tailor-made négociant structure producing Languedoc wines. The company works through long-term relationships with growers and creates client-specific wines through blending and packaging shaped around requested styles and markets.
Claude Serra serves as winemaker-consultant to the growers, managing viticulture and winemaking. So Vignerons also identifies him as a professor at Montpellier University of Oenology. This combination of grower relationships, shared technical oversight and tailored blending defines the company's working model.
Wines
Villa des Croix Pinot Noir is made entirely from Pinot Noir. The grapes are manually harvested and fully destemmed, followed by a five-day cold maceration at 10°C. Temperature-controlled fermentation reaches a maximum of 25°C.
Villa des Croix Pinot Noir has red-fruit aromas led by wild strawberry, followed by menthol, grilled and smoky sensations. The palate balances acidity and structure, while the aromatic finish carries fine tannins. It can be kept for up to five years.
