It is lively and taut, with a tight texture, noticeable maturity and pleasant smoky oak character. Aeration helps it open, and it can spend several more years in the cellar.
Chardonnay 2022 is medium to full bodied, with ripe fruit, crisp acidity and a lingering finish. Pineapple, guava and banana are balanced by vanilla and roasted almond notes.
