Who makes it

Champagne Geoffroy's range includes Expression Brut, Pureté Premier Cru Brut Nature and Empreinte Millésime Extra Brut. Empreinte Millésime is a Blanc de Noirs, a white Champagne made from black grapes. Rosé de Saignée and Blanc de Rosé Premier Cru Extra Brut add two rosé styles to the range.

The labels move through different dosage categories. Brut Nature indicates a wine with no dosage, while Extra Brut indicates a very dry sparkling style. The bottle names therefore describe both the cuvée and its place within Champagne's sparkling categories.

Where it grows

The vineyards lie in the Vallée de la Marne. The regional name places Champagne Geoffroy within the Marne valley, while the Premier Cru wording on Pureté identifies a classified vineyard origin within the broader region.

Premier Cru is a vineyard classification, not a grape variety or a sweetness category. On Pureté, it sits beside Brut Nature, so the label gives both vineyard status and dry sparkling style.

How it is made

The cellar

Champagne Geoffroy practices integrated pest management. Chemical weedkillers are excluded, while cover crops and soil tilling form part of the vineyard work. Cover crops keep living plants between the vines, and tilling works the soil beneath the rows.

The wines do not undergo malolactic fermentation. This preserves more malic acidity in the finished Champagne, giving the wines nerve and supporting their ability to age.

What they make

Expression Brut is the Brut cuvée in the range. Pureté carries both Premier Cru and Brut Nature on its label. Empreinte Millésime is an Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs, while Rosé de Saignée and Blanc de Rosé Premier Cru Extra Brut occupy the rosé positions.

Rosé de Saignée names a rosé made by drawing off juice from grapes during maceration. Blanc de Rosé uses a different style name, keeping the range open to two distinct rosé categories alongside the white wines.
