The producer
Spriteriet seasons its vermouths exclusively with plants that grow in Sweden and gathers almost all of them itself. The recipes change with each vintage, while character, alcohol and sweetness are refined through repeated testing. Bottling, labeling and packing are performed by hand, and bottles can carry the production year, batch size and often the bottling date.

The Producer
Charlotta Nyfeldt started and runs Spriteriet. Her background behind the bar and in spirits sales fed into an idea for a drinks production business in 2017. Spriteriet released its first two products in September 2018.
Production follows the season and each growing year, drawing inspiration from surrounding vegetation and plants gathered from the wild. For vermouth, the producer begins with wine and uses gentler seasoning so that herbs and berries remain integrated. Swedish flora supplies the reference point, and almost all of the botanicals are gathered by the producer. The seasoning changes with each vintage.
Character, alcohol and sweetness are tested repeatedly during product development. Bottling, labeling and packing are performed by hand. Bottles can identify the production year and batch size, and often the bottling date.
Wines
The named range is organized around three vermouths and one aperitif: Spriteriet Röd Vermouth, Spriteriet Torr Vermouth, Svensk Vermouth Spriteriet and Spriteriet Amber Aperitif. Detailed compositions vary by vintage.
Röd Vermouth 2023 begins with Domaine de Majas Rouge 2023 from Roussillon, blending 40% Carignan, 37% Grenache and 23% Syrah. Redcurrant, lingonberry and fresh herbs shape the aroma. The palate has a soft red-fruited base with chervil, dill seed, wormwood and sweet vernal grass, followed by freshness, balance and depth.
Torr Vermouth 2020 uses Xarel-lo and a base wine assembled by a solera method, combining newer vintages from steel tanks with older, barrel-matured wine. Yellow fruit, herbs and subtle salinity lead the aroma. The palate is taut, herbal and fresh, with pineapple, mango, sugar kelp, bog myrtle, wormwood and meadowsweet.
Svensk Vermouth Spriteriet completes the vermouth trio. Amber Aperitif occupies the aperitif side of the range, with a spicy, lightly floral and sweet profile, slight bitterness, and notes of sweet woodruff, honey, chamomile, angelica, elderflower and citrus peel.
