Mulderbosch Vineyards is a Stellenbosch Kloof producer with red, white and rosé wines. The range includes single variety, single vineyard, estate and blended bottlings. Old Vine Steen Op Hout 2022 is full bodied Chenin Blanc with clear minerality and floral nuances. Single Vineyard Series Cabernet Franc 2021 is dry, medium bodied, oaked and made entirely from Cabernet Franc. The tasting destination looks over surrounding vineyards.

The story
The Dirty Little Farm
In 1989, Larry Jacobs, a former intensive care doctor, bought the Mulderbosch farm. It was neglected and unfarmed, with a few dilapidated buildings, while its rich soil had lain fallow for almost a century. The local community called the property vuilplasie, meaning dirty little farm. Winemaker Mike Dobrovic joined Jacobs, and together they cleaned up the property and planted the first vineyards. After a cellar was built, Dobrovic created Sauvignon Blanc, Blanc Fumé and Chardonnay. Mulderbosch was established that year.
