The producer
Les Quatre Tours is a Venelles cooperative working across the Trevaresse slopes north of Aix-en-Provence. Its vineyards use clay-limestone marl, sandy patches and mountain-derived pebbles, under a continental climate moderated by the Durance and influenced by the Mediterranean. The range includes a five grape rosé, a Syrah, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon red with 10% aged in oak barrels, and Domaine de Collavery, a Grenache led rosé fermented in steel tanks. The wines span fresh berry and citrus notes alongside dark fruit, spice and soft tannin.

The story
The 1990 Venelles Alliance
In 1990, the Venelles and Le Puy-Sainte-Réparade wineries joined forces and progressively moved wine production onto a single site in Venelles. Thierry Blanchard then arrived as the cooperative's new chairman and brought new momentum to the project. The vineyard continued to develop, while considerable investment went into the winery. Production facilities were recently modernized as the producer pursued continued innovation. From then on, the two wineries shared one production address in Venelles.

Place
The vineyards cover five villages north of Aix-en-Provence, with Venelles and Puyricard as the principal locations. The climate is continental, moderated by the Durance River and influenced by the Mediterranean. The vineyard is divided between 80% Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence PDO land and 20% Mediterranean and Bouches-du-Rhône PGI land, so the range includes both appellation wines and broader geographic indications.
Wines
The range covers two rosés and one red. Quatre Tours Aix-en-Provence Rosé 2025 combines Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Clairette, with a fresh taste of red berries, citrus and white peach.
Quatre Tours Aix-en-Provence Rouge 2022 combines Syrah, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon. Ten percent has been aged in oak barrels, and the wine is balanced, with dark berries, spice, lightly toasted notes and soft tannins.
Domaine de Collavery 2025 is a rosé with Grenache as its principal grape and fermentation in steel tanks. It is berry driven and very fresh, showing raspberry, wild strawberry, fresh herbs, peach, rhubarb and blood grapefruit.
