The story

Thierry Buzzo Starts The Domaine

Before creating his own domaine, Thierry Buzzo learned winemaking from his grandparents and his father, Vincent Buzzo. In 2009, he established Domaine Buzzo Bunifazziu on ancestral family land in Bonifacio. Vineyards And Cellar

Harvest and ageing details are documented for Ciafara Rouge. The grapes are hand harvested, then the wine is vinified and aged in oak barrels. Hand harvesting allows bunches to be selected individually; barrel ageing exposes the wine to gradual oxygen and can add spice while softening tannin.

Wines

The range covers red, white and rosé wines. Ciafara Rouge is the Niellucciu and Sciaccarellu red, with hand harvesting and oak barrel ageing. Cian di Fossi is the Minustellu red.

Ciafara Rosé is the rosé. Rocca Gianca is the mineral white, while Biginti Blanc is the Barbarossa white. The bottles move from red grape blends to rosé freshness and floral white wines.
