The producer
Château Sainte Croix occupies a former fortified farm from the 12th century on the former lands of Thoronet Abbey in Provence. Cistercian monks occupied Sainte Croix while they built the abbey three kilometres away. The Pélépol family continues the estate through Florence and Stéphane, the fourth generation. The vineyard covers about 50 hectares. In Carcès, the estate makes Provence reds, rosés and whites, with Charmeur as a core range rosé made from Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah.

The story
Five Hectares, One Cellar
In 1924, the Pélépol family lived from its farming activity when the opportunity to buy five hectares of vines was offered. At the beginning, the family carried its grapes to the cooperative cellar in Carcès. The grapes went there before Fernand Pélépol decided, in 1927, to create his first cellar in the village. Florence and Stéphane Pélépol now represent the fourth generation continuing the family estate.

The Producer

Charmeur Rosé 2025 is a Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah blend. It brings raspberry, blackcurrant, rose and fresh pomelo aromas, with an unctuous, voluminous palate and light acidity. The wine spends three weeks in stainless steel tank.
