The producer
Aurélie Carreau is an oenologist and agricultural engineer who spent more than 10 years as a technical manager on wine estates, mostly in Pomerol, before establishing her own venture. She acquired the 4 hectare estate with partner Stéphane Fau. Its 2.2 hectares of vines are planted with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon on gravelly and clay limestone soils. The farming includes organic and biodynamic work, with agroforestry and crop diversification. Wines age 15 to 18 months in oak barrels and clay amphoras to preserve fruit freshness.
