The story
From Relay Station To Vineyard
In 1739, a bastide was built at the property. During the nineteenth century, it served as a horse relay station. Baron Émile Double changed its purpose in 1890, converting the property into a wine estate. Phanette Double, an oenologist and agricultural engineer, is now the proprietor. The property’s role moved from horse relay to wine production, with the bastide remaining at the centre of the estate.
