The story
From Growers To Champagne
Since 1750, the Bouillot, Goutorbe and Papleux families have worked in Champagne on the same soil. In 1911, the family began producing Champagne as well as growing grapes. The three names belong to one Damery family history, with the work carried across generations. The early date marks grape growing; the later date marks Champagne production. The sequence runs from a family working the vineyard to a family making Champagne, while the producer remains based in Damery.
