The 2019 Name Change
In 2019, brothers Florian and Enguerran Bonnet changed their estate's label and launched the Bonnet-Leconte name as a tribute to their late father, Gérard Bonnet. The change was both a label decision and a brand launch. Florian and Enguerran Bonnet acted together, and Gérard Bonnet was the family member being honoured. A producer name can preserve a person on a label; here the person is Gérard Bonnet, carried into the Bonnet-Leconte name by the brothers' 2019 decision at the estate.
